MIND&BRAIN PRIZE – 2014 EDITION

The Center for Cognitive Science of the University and Polytechnic of Torino is proud to announce the 2014 Mind&Brain Prize winners:
Stanislas Dehaene, College de France: for his exceptional research activity both in neuroscience and in cognitive science that offered very significant contributions to the study of processes involved in reading, in calculating and in consciousness, and for his interest to the educational applications of his scientific results.
M&BP (Mind&Brain Prize)
Manos Tsakiris, Royal Holloway, University of London: for his pioneering studies on the bodily self-consciousness and on the motor awareness, and for his approach that binding together the neuroscientific evidences and the theoretical reflection coming from his philosophical background.
YM&BP (Young Mind&Brain Prize)
The award ceremony will be held in Turin on November 19, 2014 at 2.30 pm.
