2013 edition
The Center for Cognitive Science of the University and Polytechnic of Torino is proud to announce the 2013 Mind&Brain Prize winners:
Tim Shallice, Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London: for his outstanding contribution to the understanding of the neurofunctional mechanisms underlying the cognitive systems and for his clinical sensitivity to the multiple and complex aspects underlying the neuropsychological deficits.
M&BP (Mind&Brain Prize)
Sarah Blakemore, Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London: for her pioneering studies about the monitoring of voluntary actions, both in healthy subjects and in patients with neurological diseases, and for her fundamental research in the development of social cognition and executive functions in the brain of adolescents.
YM&BP (Young Mind&Brain Prize)
The award ceremony will be held in Turin on November 13, 2013 at 2.30 pm, Via Verdi 8.
